First and foremost, you are going to want to be sure that you are supporting your partner at all times. You may think that your partner is tough as nails but this is not always the case. Men do have sensitive ego’s but they are not going to be as open about this a woman would be.
So, you should always be supportive when they are doing something. Believe it or not, telling your partner that you are proud of them, or an accomplishment that they have achieved can also go a long way at motivating your loved one and keeping them happy.
Second, stop and evaluate yourself. Are you continually nagging at him or flipping out on him all of the time? This can be emotionally and mentally draining to anyone and that includes your man. If you are doing this then it is time to stop. Try to avoid doing this all of the time. Even if your man does appear happy, if you are yelling at him all of the time he most likely has other thoughts in his head. This is certainly something that you have to work on.
Third, try to stop questioning him all of the time and what his motives are. Again, this is very draining on the man. It is a sure sign that you do not trust him and this is not going to help your relationship at all. You will need to make sure that you are showing your partner that you trust him and give him some room. He will know if you do not trust him and he is going to become very frustrated with this. It can only end in an argument or the end of your relationship.
Finally, stop making your relationship all about you. It will be very important for you to consider what your partner enjoys doing. Set aside time to engage in these activities as well. If you are never doing what your partner likes then he is going to become bored. Remember that the relationship is both of yours and that means that you should be equal.
Those that are having a hard time engaging in activities that the man enjoys will want to work on making a schedule. Let the man make some of the decisions. Giving up control will make both of you happy because you do not have to worry about making all of the decisions and he will feel respected in the relationship.
